Manchester Withington MP Jeff Smith is encouraging young people in south Manchester to get involved in UK Parliament Week 2018.

UK Parliament Week is a UK-wide festival that engages people, especially young people, with the workings of Parliament. Taking part can take the form of holding a debate or mock election, organising guest speakers or even an online event.  The event can be big or small, public or private.

Those who register to take part will receive a free UK Parliament Week partner kit with resources to help you run your event including: an activity booklet, a ballot box, bunting, posters, pin badges, a UK Parliament Week placard and a Votes for Women sash!
