Foodbank Information for the Christmas Period

If you are in need of emergency food over the Christmas period, or would like to give a donation to a foodbank, you can find more information about local sessions and the food that they are most in need of below.



Burnage Foodbank

Open as usual over the Christmas period.

Each Tuesday 12.30-2.30pm at St Nicholas Parish Hall, St Nicholas Church, 408 Kingsway, M19 1PL

Each Friday 3pm – 5pm at St Bernard’s Parish Rooms, St Bernard’s Church, Burnage Lane, M19 1DR

Chorlton and Didsbury Foodbank

Each Tuesday 4.30-6.30pm at Chorlton Central Church, Barlow Moor Road, M21 8BF

Each Wednesday 11am-1pm at Christ Church Hall, Darley Avenue, M20 2ZD

Each Friday 11am-1pm at St Barnabus, Hurstville Road, off Hardy Lane, M21 8DH

  • Instant coffee
  • Rice
  • Tinned fruit
  • Jam
  • Biscuits or snack bars
  • Sugar (500g)
  • Toilet paper
  • Toiletries
  • Shower gel
  • Washing powder
