Dear Resident,
I have been widely involved in the Chorlton community for many years. I am a governor of Chorlton C of E Primary School. I am a volunteer at the Chorlton Beer Festival and the Chorlton Fun Run, and I have been a member of the Chorlton Wombles litter picking group since it’s inception.
I was first elected to the City Council in 2014 and since then I have worked hard to represent the views of Chorlton residents, tackle their issues and secure Chorlton’s fair share of investment. I have worked closely with Chorlton Traders to support local businesses, and I recently became a trustee of
the Edge Theatre.
My Pledges to You
- Work to make Chorlton an even safer, cleaner and greener place to live.
- Work to ensure that Chorlton gets it’s fair share of investment, especially in roads and
pavements. - Continue to campaign for even more social and affordable housing in Chorlton.
- Continue to support local businesses, especially independent traders, to thrive and grow.
- To continue to listen to, and represent residents and community groups.
Thank you for your support,
John
