Cllr John Hacking – Chorlton Ward

Dear Resident,

I have been widely involved in the Chorlton community for many years. I am a governor of Chorlton C of E Primary School. I am a volunteer at the Chorlton Beer Festival and the Chorlton Fun Run, and I have been a member of the Chorlton Wombles litter picking group since it’s inception.

I was first elected to the City Council in 2014 and since then I have worked hard to represent the views of Chorlton residents, tackle their issues and secure Chorlton’s fair share of investment. I have worked closely with Chorlton Traders to support local businesses, and I recently became a trustee of
the Edge Theatre.

My Pledges to You

  1. Work to make Chorlton an even safer, cleaner and greener place to live.
  2. Work to ensure that Chorlton gets it’s fair share of investment, especially in roads and
    pavements.
  3. Continue to campaign for even more social and affordable housing in Chorlton.
  4. Continue to support local businesses, especially independent traders, to thrive and grow.
  5. To continue to listen to, and represent residents and community groups.

Thank you for your support,

John
