Jeff Smith MP for Manchester Withington has expressed his support for the owners of Café Blah over the recent closure of their premises. The café, known for its welcoming atmosphere and commitment to supporting local events, was forced to close following a dispute with the property owners.
Jeff has been in contact with the café’s operators, who shared their frustrations and concerns over the situation – where they were locked out of the premises without warning. Jeff has written to the owners of the premises, asking them to help resolve the tenancy issues and maintain Café Blah in the premises.
“I have reached out to the property owners to ask that they reconsider their decision to end the tenancy. Small, independent businesses are at the heart of our local economy, and it’s vital we do all we can to support them.”
Jeff remains committed to working with both the café owners and the wider community to explore possible avenues for Café Blah’s future.
